Discovery Communications India today said it has roped in Anil-Ambani-led Reliance group firm, Reliance Animation to produce a new animation series, Little Singham.

The special animated short video has a beautiful Indian setting, and premiered in Disney India Channel as part of the second season of ‘Mickey Shorts’ series.

The most prominent feature in the short is definitely the aesthetics, which beautifully blend in Mickey’s traditional style from the 1930s – the usual red shorts, yellow shoes, white gloves and his uniquely lovable voice (he’s speaking in Hindi, of course); while adding a few modern strokes to the background. The many Indian clichés that have been captured is sure to go down well with the local audience.
